I'm looking for a case for my new Dell PPC. Here is my situation and how I currently use my Visor PDA. I'm an electronics field tech. I currently have a case that's the book type- the pda clips to the right and there is a note pad on the left. I like the notepad for quick notes and sketches. I'm looking for a case similar to this. I need something that's pretty durable on the exterior because I carry it in my tool bag alot of the time. I would also like something that is a little shock resistant for those accidental drops. I like the idea of a belt clip to. Is there a case that someone could recommend? My main concern is durability and funtionality and not so much the appearance. Thanks.

Well, it's not in notebook form, but the iHolster IV has a belt clip and protects the screen. I'm not sure you'll be able to find a big case like that with a belt clip too.

Good luck

I have just recently seen a Armor by Otter. Their case is rugged! To find do a search on "Armor by Otter" When ordering for the Ax, ask for a medium pad. The default pad lets the Ax bump around inside, the thick is to big. Price is around $50.00.
