How To Turn Off Wireless ?

Is there a way to turn off the wireless compact flash card without removing it?. Don't always need wireless but don't like taking it in and out all the time. If I leave it in it runs the battery down.

What type of card? It should ahve come with a software utility that can enable/disable radio or broadcast.

simple answer, no.
sorry, its really annoying that it drains to search for ssids though and power the little blink led

sounds like you two need to get another card that does have an enable/disable radio and scanning.
