ANyone hear of sync not able with multi processor CPU's

I just went thru a two day process of upgrading my PC to a dual processor system and backing up and making sure I had 3 years of data and files copied correctly. Since then, the very last thing I wanted to do was to set up my Clie. Hotsync would not work. It would beep like it was working but it would neber show up on the screen. I called Tech support who was no help and then I went to the support site and saw something to the effect of the Hotsync won't work on a multiprocessor PC. Anyone hear of or have this same problem.

I had a problem in the beginning but after I hard reset the clie I have no problems running xp with a dual 1.2 ghz system. The problem I was having was with the hotsync driver that is shipped on the CD but it started working for me. all I can suggest is to try to call sony (yea like you would get any here there) and see if they have an updated driver.
