I am considering moving to a TREO 300 with sprint, and as an independent consultant I do not run Exchange and therefore sprint recommends Eudora EIS suite for the email. However, the support (or lack thereof) shows only desktop compatibility with Win2K and below - in other words no XP Pro edition. The TREO comes with the old 3.5x Palm I think . . so it's a bit of a quandry on old vs. new.

Has anyone tried EIS, 3.5x Palm and the EIS Conduit using Windows XP Pro and Outlook 2000 for sych?

Also, I found that Iambic is available for $39 US. and their tech support says there is an "issue" with the TREO keyboard and the Fast Writer software . . anyone know what it is, and whether the synch/Conduit works in that suite?

I was able to load Eudora to my desktop, but was unable to download it to the treo. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My basic problem is that the treo blazer cannot read java script and thus I cannot access my email accont.

Thanks.

All that you need to do is open the folder on your desktop that contains the Eudora email.prc files and double click them, they will be put into your palm hotsync folder for syncing with your treo. Make sure that you read the installation instructions in the read me file so that you know which files need to be installed on the treo.
You might also want to try Xiino. It is a very nice web browser alternative to Blazer and it supports a lot of javascript which may allow you to open your web mail.
