750c AC adapter plug

Can someone tell me what type of plug the Ac adapter for the 750c has. I have a 9.5vdc adapter but the barrel type plug that fits into the hole in the 750c doesn't seem to be making contact. Any ideas? I will soon have no use of my 750c. If you could describe it or even better yet take a picture of the connector I'd be very thankful. Lastly anyone have a good source for cheap serial or IR cables?

FYI, here are the following official specs off my OEM 750c adapter:

S1424-21A
Input: AC 100-240V 60Hz 13W
Output: DC 9V 1000mA

So you may want to check on something other than the 9.5V.

I've attached a couple pictures of the adapter plug. Hope this didn't get to you too late. I would guess that you just don't have quite the right barrel plug yet. I do know that quite a few folks were using an aftermarket RadioShack adapter on their MP750c rather than pay the big bucks for the genuine article.
