zapped battery

I accidentally used the wrong power plug for my palm 515 hotsync charger and now my palm won't work after putting it into the cradle. I tried resetting the handheld and it still does nothing. I assume I fried the battery but I'm afraid to spend the money for a battery if that's not the problem. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Well, I would be concerned that you fried more than that. Your Palm may still be under warranty, but whether this will be covered is questionable. I recommend getting it in for a warranty check ASAP.
