Help! Cant SYNC!!!

when i put my dell in the cradle it doesnt sync anymore!
i have no idea what is wrong, it says that microsoft activesync is not a compatible version installed on my desktop!
so i went to the microsoft website to download the latest one, 3.6 i think
but it still doesnt work!
help!

I have that problem when I disconnect my Ax before I hit the disconnect button. After I reset my Desktop and then replug my Ax it works. Just as a troubleshooting prospective, do you have debrie in the cradle???
