Has anyone had kinoma freeze on them? Every so often after I open the kinoma program and then select the audio file that I want to play, the screen goes white and nothing happens. This forces me to do a soft reset after which the program usually behaves properly. Any comments? And by the way the issue is not whether the program is on my SD card or RAM. I launched it from both with the same results.

Is kinoma player free?
What formats does it support?
What is a typical file size?

Kinoma Player is free, but Kinoma Producer costs. You'll need Producer if you want to convert your own files (e.g. movies) for viewing on Player. File sizes vary depending on content, of course. The movie trailer for "Men In Black" is 6.1 MB and the trailer for "Spiderman" is 3.5 MB. Files are converted to a *.pdb format and are listed in my card info utility as "KMOV."

about the freezing part...

it has happened to me but only over a couple of times...needing to soft reset as well. however, once...it was a corrupted movie (or a movie that hadnt finish syncing yet). the other time. not so sure but i remember i had too little ram left at the time.

I think I found out why it was freezing. I had all my audio files in the native palm launcher folder instead of its own folder. I now created a kinoma folder in the program folder and I haven't had any more problems... We'll see.
