Internet connection thru Mobile phone

Hello :

How can I connect to the internet from iPAQ 3970 thru a mobile phone?

- I do not have a wireless LAN card on my iPAQ
- My mobile phone has only IR and not Bluetooth

Has anyone succeeded in doing so? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a link of a website that has fairly good instructions on how to connect your iPaq to the internet using IrDA on the cell phone and the iPaq.

Thanks much for your information. This was indeed very useful. I could get step-by-step instruction to configure my iPAQ. Later on, upon talking to the service rpovider, I got it done completely.
