Hi I have a question... If my windows xp machine has an active internet connection, is it possible to get the PDA connected to the internet thru the cradle? Please don't answer wifi 802.11b or bluetooth or modem - those answers are too easy and require extra hardware. I want to know if the basic palm pda can get into the internet thru it's cradle ports USB. I tried playing with the "PREFS" Network, Windows RAS, PPP, but did not get a connection. got error ppp timeout. When i changed to CSLIP, I got a connection established, but my browser still would not connect. do i need to prep up my Win Xp machine in some manner?

Thanks :D

Same question as well.

My pocket pc Brother-In-Law rubs his 802.11 connection in my face every chance he gets.

I am waiting for SanDisk to release their 802.11/memory card later this year (June???).

Is there any way to access the internet via the cradle? I just want to preview what the internet looks like on a m515?

Thanks!

There is a program to do this called Mocha PPP but I believe it will only work with a serial cradle.

I've heard of a new program like this for USB. Try doing a search at http://www.brighthand.com.

Good luck.

Yep, I already tried Mocha, but as you said, it only works with serial connection, not USB

I think that the other program I was talking about is called Softick PPP. A quick Google search should bring it up.

Yeah I had tried that one too but I dont know what happened that I installed the program but it wouldnt open it, anyway I was reading about it and I saw that it only works with a dialup connection, and what I was trying was to use my current conection (ADSL)
