I need help with using a 3Com PCMCIA 56k modem with my 3850 iPaq. When I dial my ISP it takes a long time showing the "dialing" dialogue box but nothing happens and it finally freezes. I used it with my laptop and confirmed that the modem works. The Compaq site lists this model # as a compatible PC Card Modem with iPaq. The modem model is 3com 3ccm556 (56k). Any help would be greatly appreciated
