Hi,
I have a Psion Netbook and I would like to use the FIR IrDA port to link my netbook to my network via a Windows XP computer.

I already have an IrDA USB adapter (U2 IrDA Infineon).

I thought I had seen instructions somewhere, but I cannot find it!

Can someone please point me to suitable instructions.

Regards

Peter

I can't respond directly to your question. I can, however, share my (very pleasant) experience with ir LONG before the new EPOC came out. I used an IR appliance from clarinetsys.com. Darned coolest thing I have purchased in a long time. Just buy one and plug it into the LAN. If you have a DHCP server, then there is ZERO config. In fact, if you have DHCP then you can throw out the manual.

On the netBook, the config is simpler with the new EPOC. Just select irLAN as the adapter under the ethernet settings, point the netBook at the device and you are online.

Best of luck,
Marty
