To drain or not to drain....the battery?

What usage preserves the Li-ion battery the best???

1 - Keep PDA charged at all times (every evening, or don't allow PPC to go below a magic? % charged)
2 - Allow charge to drain as low as safely possible ( 25 %) before recharging
3 - Other suggestions?

Short answer is 1, this type of battery has no memory, so it is recommended that pocket pc remain connected to ac power when not in use.
