Ipaq 3600 Issues

I have a 3600 series ipaq, and every time i sync at work then go home and sync.. the next time i power up the damn this has reset, i have lost all installed software and stored documents, can someone please give me some insight to what might cause this. and if there is a way to back things up into perminent memory once you have it set up the way you like, it seems to keep re pulling the contacts, but i still hate redo-ing everything including personal info etc.

I have found some past posts that might apply and give some ideas.

How are you set up? Do you have two partnerships, one on each computer? When setting up the second partnership did you select syning with two computers? Are you syncing email from both? It looks like you can only sync email with one.

What PPC version are you using?
What Windows are you using at work & home?

Try the above if you havn't already, post more info and I'll keep working on it.

well when i put it in its cradle that charges it... and then it starts up with the damn new screen like i just bought it. and i was wondering if there is a way to back it up to an internal ROM?
