Backlight on Clie T615c

Has anyone turned on their T615c and the backlight was very dim? The only thing I could do was a soft re-boot - but even still it seems a bit dimer than before. I've turned the brightness up to the max and still the problem persists. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This happened to me a couple of times but then I realized I was holding the power button just a second too long and the backlight was turning off. It has not caused me any persistent problems like you refer to though.
