:confused: i recently purchased a Sony Clie SL30, and had a few questions for anyone who thinks that they are capable of answering: does anyone how i caould go about getting my palm online? i would be intrested in any information on AIM software for it. Also, i have heard of a program called "AvantGo." I went to their website and left still clueless as to what it was, or how i go about getting it. Thank-you for your time, and i would appreciate it personnaly if someone could answer one or all of these questions.

Answers:
1) Getting on line can be accomplished using a modem compatible with your SONY or with a cell phone that is data capable and will talk to your SONY by IR. You will need to do some homework on the phones and services in your area.
2) AIM? As in AOL Instant Messenger? Or AIM Spreadsheet software? If AOL I have not used the messenger. I tried Yahoo's and it was a mess.
3) Avantgo is an application that once downloaded and installed on your PC and HandHeld will enable you to gather Web pages during a hotsync and download them to you handheld for later viewing. The web sites available are many, but you must first register with Avantgo, establish and account and select the pages you desire to have loaded. This app can be a big consumer of your available memory but is a nice way to view web content easier and faster than by modem or cell phone.
