How to connect the PC to internet via 3G PocketPC phone

I want to connect my laptop to the internet using the SprintPCS 3G data connection of a Toshiba 2032 PocketPC phone. I have a Bluetooth connection between the laptop and the phone, and, of course, the regular USB/sync craddle link.
After installing the Toshiba Bluetooth SD card, I get only serial port BT service on the PDA. I was expecting to find a DUN service too and that would have solved my problem.
I tried everything, I searched everywhere, but I did not find this problem even mentioned, altough it looks to me quite an obvious and vital thing one would want to do.

I am in a very similar situation. I have a Toshiba 2032SP on SprintPCS. I cannot find any documented way to make the device visible as a modem in dial up networking when connected via a USB cable to my laptop. I agree with you that MANY PEOPLE should be wanting to do this. If it is not possible, I would have purchased the PCMCIA card version instead (as my primary need is for wireless Internet) and then I would have bought a PocketPC without the integrated phone. I have a query in with SprintPCS tech support, but it didn't sound promising from them.

The other 2 things I have been unable to do is execute a wireless sync of my Outlook INBOX with my MS Exchange server OR dial-in sucessfully to as RAS modem.

Anyone been sucessful on that front?

Yesterday I received the following response from an Audiovox Engineer: "This device can not be used as a modem. _This functionality is not supported or enabled on the 2032SP."

SprintPCS is steering people towards the PCMCIA AirCards which now have higher cost plans for unlimited Internet.

I am still troubleshooting ways to execute a wireless sync of my Outlook INBOX with my MS Exchange server OR dial-in sucessfully to as RAS modem.
