Help with WiFi required

Hi,

I can't get my netBook with a Cisco arionet card to connect with my PC (also running a WiFi PC Card). When I try to use NetUtils to ping the PC from the Psion, the orange Activity light comes on for around 2 seconds and then the green status light flashes but there is no connection.

Anyone know what might be going on?

I'm not certain but I don't think the netBook Aironet driver supports adhoc (peer-to-peer) mode. You'll either need to get an access point or a Lucent/Intersil based WiFi card for the neBook.

Thanks diem. This is what I suspected. Does anyone want to buy an arionet card or swap for one of the others?
