I would imagine that this is an old problem, but I need to ask about it....I just got my Ipaq 3650 setup with an expansion sleeve and the Compaq HNW-100 wireless card so I could access my inbox and browse the internet from the other room. My access point is a Linksys and so is my DSL router. I have a multiple computer network here running Windows 2000 Server. I can access all the regular computer resources such as files, but I can NOT get the ipaq setup correctly to use the network card for its internet connection. WHAT IS WRONG??? Any help would be appreciated.

It's a shame, because the model I have right here is a 3650!

Can you access the internet when you're active sync'ed to a desktop computer on your LAN?

Do you use a static IP, or do you use DHCP?

I GOT IT!!!!!

All I had to do was not be afraid to do a "soft" reset!

I did that and BANG it started working....accessing the internet wireless....email.....even activesync is working across the network!!!!

I am using:
Linksys WAP11 Access Point
Linksys BEFSR41 4-port router
DSL Internet
Windows 2000 server network
Windows 2000 Local Computer
Compaq Ipaq 3765
Compaq HNW-100 Wireless Card
PCMCIA Expansion Pack
ActiveSync 3.6
Pocket PC 2002 V3.0
Rom Version 2.14

What a pain....but glad it is working. Thanks to all the posts here on other things and such. I was able to slowly piece it all together.
Thanks and I will come back often.
