Can anyone tell me which plam (or any other brand for that matter) models allow the user to browse previously downloaded web-content (such as the Guardian Unlimited e-paper) offline. I would download the pages through my PC and them transfer them. I know the m515 can do it but is there anything cheaper?

viewing web content is possible on about every pda, as long as you use a program that is capable of converting the html (or something else) into content readeble by a program on your palm. There's lots of software available for this purpose.
a very good AND freeware example is plucker (click to download v 1.1.14) (http://www.plkr.org/download/plucker-1.1/plucker-1.1.14.zip)

hope i was of any help

Hope this information may be useful for configuring your plucker:
