hwo do you install programs and run them from a memory card?
i purchased a SanDisk 256mb and woudl like to start putting games and other apps that I dont access all the time on there.
What program can do that ? Is myWorkbench a good one?

ON YOUR CARD IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY CREATE DIRECTORY/FOLDER
1.PALM/PROGRAMS/LAUNCHER (.PRC,.PDB here)
2.AUDIO FOR YOUR MP3 OR OGG AUDIO FILES
3.DCIM FOR YOUR IMAGE JPEG

You can use PowerRUN or PiDirect if your application does not support VFS directly. This means that if your app expects the databases to be in RAM, then you will need to use this, otherwise you can only copy the application to external memory.
If your application supports VFS, then you should have no problem just moving it to the card. However, using the default built in application launcher, everything on the card cannot be categorized - they all appear in one category.
Some third party launcher software will allow you to categorize the applications on the card. Some of the most popular launchers I know of are ZLauncher (http://www.zztechs.com), SilverScreen (http://www.pocketsensei.com/) and LauncherX (http://www.launcherx.com/).
