I bought an Ipaq 3835 last November and have so far been VERY pleased with it. However, one problem I'm having, and not meeting much success in finding a thread on this site is how to open the Pocket Word or Excel files from Activesync in order to make changes to them.
When I first bought it, it seems to me that I was able to do this, but had since moved all those files to an expansion card and went to using Mighty Sync to synchronise those files. Now, I've moved those files back to Ipaq main memory in the "My Documents" folder. The reason I want to do this is to make changes to the files on my desktop (much easier than editing on the Ipaq), but when I use the explore option and find these files and try to open them, all I get is the "properties" window and I can't access the file for viewing or editing.
Any help is appreciated.

If you already sync the documents with the desktop, you should already have up-to-date copies of the desktop version of same documents on your desktop. Find them on your desktop and make changes to them and next time you sync, your pda should have the changed documents. If you prefer to do it manually, instead of opening them from activesync, just copy and paste to your desktop, activesync will convert them automatically, then just copy them back to your pda when done.
