Greetings:

I use the File Explorer program and delete the program. When you find the program tap and hold down on it . A menu will come up with the delete option on it, you just need to tap on delete and it will be gone. If the file is in use you will need to close it out and then try again. If you don't know what you are doing be careful. You can navagate around your iPAQ with file explorer without hurting anything to get a feel of it.

WARNING!!!!!!!! YOU CAN DELETE NEEDED PROGRAMS THIS WAY SO BE SURE OF WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DELETE.

Always make sure you backup your iPAQ at least once a month, I believe once a week is best, but who has the time.

I've found that some programs don't uninstall well, or cleanly. I am no expert, but I have found bits and pieces of them when I went to play around with a Registry Editor. I am also no expert on editing the system registry, as I don't really know what it does or how it works -but I applied common sense to the issue and deleted things with the names of the errant program in them. In my case it was one of those full-screen keyboards that just wouldn't uninstall - and I got frustrated enough to experiment, which is about typical for me.

So I understand your issue. I like to keep my machine clean and running fast so I just try things out. But I don't keep critical stuff on there so I am not advocating experimenting for most folks, since they could lose info if they didn't back up.
