Series 3a/c/mx and Chess

Hi,

Does anybody know where I can get hold of a good chess program for my Psion Series 3a. I've tried to get hold of Purplesoft's Chess game but have so far been unsuccessful. (Their website doesn't even seem to work anymore! - Purplesoft website (http://www.purplesoft.com)) I've also found that shareware versions aren't any good because the author has 'died' and the program can't be registered!

Please can someone help me!

Have you tried looking on Ebay.co.uk? That's where I picked up my Siena version. If it works on a 3a or above (which model do you have?) I'll let you have a copy. I can't test it on my 3a at the moment, as I have no way of connecting it to my PC. I'll ask a friend if it can be copied to an SSD so I can try it.

I've had a quick look but no one seems to be offering Chess on eBay.

Bear in mind that the Siena version may not work properly, or at least not as well as the 3A version. I will send a copy as soon as you let me have details.
