(I originally posted this in Sony Clie Forum but have not received a response. Since the Sony uses Palm OS... I thought I would try the same post here, in this forum...)

I have a SONY T665 and like using alarms in the Palm OS Date Book.

I would like to use a different alarm for a meeting in the morning, and a second different sounding alarm for an afternoon appointment.

In the Sony World Clock I can use different alarms and sounds at different times, but in Palm's Date Book I cannot figure out how to do this. It appears I can only simply change the sound of the one and only alarm "globally" through-out the entire Date Book.

Can someone help? Thanks.

go to Freewarepalm.com and download a file called geeksounds or something like that, it may still be one of the top 5 downloads listed in the lower right hand corner, if not go to the bottom of their homepage and do a manual search, that will come up alphabetically, go the g's and down load this file. NOTE: this file will overlay any custom sounds you may already have, as where it over lays the system midi record on your palm, but this app has a lot of cool alarms, If you need help after you download it, let me know. I have it and it works great.

I have heard of that application and it sounds cool. But... I have several sounds of my own that I have collected and installed in my (sony) palm.

but .... my question is: How can I use several of the alarm sounds "at the same time"?

I want to have one sound for business, one sound for personal, one sound for urgent....etc.

Currently, Once i set the alarm date/time, the alarm sound defaults to whatever is my current default.

Please help.
thanks.

Which version of datebook are you using, if you are using datebook 5 then there is a way if not, you should download the trial & check it out, it is a million times more flexible than what comes on your 515

I agree that DateBk 5 from Pimlicosoftware is a solution. Also ToDoPlus from HandsHigh software.
