I have the t615 bought at best buy with the extended warranty.

I thought I remembered reading notes that others noticed a slanting of the text when reading a document.

Does anyone remember or have this problem? Does best buy accept that as a return reason?

I love my Clie and would love to upgrade to the 665. With my 615 there is a slant that I can measure (mm) and it is annoying but is that a "reason" to return it???

Anybody know?

I know someone that is on his 5th "palm" after they have had "accidents", but I am unable to make mine have an "accident".

I work for Best Buy selling PDA's and cell phones. Here's what the warrenty does not cover.
Loss
Theft
Personal Abuse/Accidental Damage

Therefore, if one were to suddenly have problems with the PDA frequentlycrashing or perhaps difficulty with sync-ing it to your computer, the techs at Best Buy couldn't really check that. Chances are you could take advantage of the Service Plan and upgrade. You'd have to pay whatever the difference is in cost (What you paid for the T615 compared to the current cost of the T665 which is $399.99) and you'd have to make sure they had the T665 in stock.

Hope that helps!

As to loss or damage, I found out that my Clie is covered in my insurance rider for my cell phones.:)

As to the price, that was a concern of mine. I paid the 399 and now the ones they have left are 299...will they attempt to "replace" my 615 with the older clearance ones or will I be able to up to the 665?

Unless they're being real jerks, you should be able to upgrade to the newer model without any problem.
