I have just downloaded and played with Opera and think that it is far far superior to the web on the Psion. I have also tried various games etc. and wondered what people would consider to be the 'top 5 dowhload additions' to have?
I have a few ideas of things I would like (?) or have, lots of games!! What about E-mail?
1 Opera
2 E-mail application?
3 No-mans land
4 Extra bits for sheet ie.formulas, cell merging etc?
5 War in ancient times

What yours?

RMRBank
nConvert
Spectrum Emulator (fantastic on a netBook/7)
SmartFind
RMRZip

I'm not counting Opera since it is now in the netBook OS and for the 5mx/Revo I prefer the WAP browser anyway.

1. Codesafe.
2. I became addicted to Avantgo when I had a CE device, and really miss it on EPOC. So I use Palmtop Offline Web to come close to what Avantgo could do - bring a snapshot of web content to the 5mx with each sync.
3. Opera.
4. Psidat. I like it more than the standard Data application.
5. Hard to pick a fifth, but I'll chose Palmtop's My Pocket, which I use to automate the transfer of some spreadsheets and Word docs from work onto my 5mx; when I make a change on either end, it gets replicated to the other platform with the next sync.

I also like the Converti Calculator and nConvert.

Gosh, I also like BRestart, Locker, StickyKeys and FIWorld5. All of these add the thing that I like having on my device.

OK...

Opera I consider to be essential, so I'm leaving that aside, and the inbuilt apps that Epoc provides us with fulfil most of my day-to-day needs.

After that it is:

1) MSN Messenger Force
2) Collins Spanish/English dictionary
3) Safe Place
4) nICQ
5) Vexed (I blame Simon Wolf for that one!!) ;)

That's not fair ... Ewan could have seen what sort of monster he was about to unleash and pulled the plug! ;)
