You need to download the 128-bit SSL add-on for Pocket IE. This is only for use on the CE 2.11 -- NOT CE 2.0, so you CE 2.0 users (MP750c, MP700, etc.) shouldn't download this.

Here's the link to download it from PocketPCCity:

http://www.pocketpccity.com/software/hpcpro/128bit-SSL-for-Pocket-IE-1999-04-07-ce-hpcpro.html

FYI, it's mislabeled as being for Pocket IE 1.0, but it should say version 3.0.

Don't expect this to be a lasting solution. I've had CE devices starting with version 1.0, and it always seems like online mail sites (like Hotmail, Excite, Yahoo, etc.) always keep themselves just out of reach for use by CE devices.

I have not been able to download the 128 bit SSL update via the posted link. There seems to be no download available there and the MS link isn't correct anymore either.

If small enough, can you attach to a post?

Unfortunately, it's almost a megabyte, so it can't be attached, but here are two links where you can definitely download it:

My Yahoo Group (you don't have to be a member):

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MobileProHPC/files/

Or if you prefer an official download site (understandably), here's the ever-changing Microsoft download site for H/PCs:

http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/handheldpc/downloads/default.asp

and here is the direct link for the 128-bit SSL upgrade:

http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/handheldpc/downloads/128bit.asp

Sorry about the non-working links in the previous message. That's what I get for trying to keep people downloading from PocketPCCity.com. I'll be sure and report the bad links to the admin folks.
