PDA is in French

How do I change the language in my PDA, it is in French...and I need it in English!!! :)

Palm has made some units that are international, you can select the language, and some that are language specific, you cannot select the language. Unfortunately the only way to know and to change the language is that you will have to do a hard reset. After the hard reset if it is an international version you will be ask to choose the language.

A hard reset though will erase all the data on the Palm except the orginal data that comes with the Palm, so if there are things you need make sure to do a sync before doing the reset.

You do a hard reset by pushing a paper clip or something similar into the reset hole on the back while holding dow the power button. Take the paper clip out, keep the power button down. You will see the "Palm logo" release the power button. You should be ask "this will erase all the data, push a certain button if you are alright with this". Push the correct button and you have done a hard reset and you should then be taken through the setup which will give you choice of language.

Thanks!! We will try it! But I failed to mention that the software is what is in French. I just did a hard reset on the palm and will let you know if that solves it!!!
