According to this site (http://jornada720club.blogspot.com/) NEC will introduce a new MobilePro handheld PC this quarter, the MobilePro 900. The biggest change seems to be that it will have a StrongArm processor (another addition I like is a USB port). The site linked to above also has a couple pictures of it.

That's a nice set of information to get the idea. Would be nicer if the USB would be USB2.0.

Since I never had any of the Handhelds, can someone comment on 790 vs. 900 (with from specs alone and 790 experances)?

Don't want to run off on a wish list tangent, but built-in low power ethernet would have been nice.

If the USB is full-featured instead of human-interface only (like the 8xx models), it will be a lot more useful.

Brainiac 5, where in that link did you get that information? I looked and looked, couldn't locate the press?

ohioluddite, again, where did you get that info? on the bottom of that link? There were other links in that site (on the bottom) but website is down or something.

The information now seems to have moved into their archive - the new link is: http://jornada720club.blogspot.com/2003_03_01_Jornada720club_archive.html

Search on the page for "900" - there's a list of specs and then further down there's the original post about it.
