I know I'm probably gonna start getting a reputation for starting threads like this, but this is another seemingly redundant shareware program that I'm having trouble registering!
Navigator for EPOC....I don't know what everyone elses' opinons are on this program, but I quite like it. Trouble is Purple Software, the developers, seem to have been liquidated, and there's no way for me to register the damn thing!
Any help would be appreciated, even if I have to buy a "second-hand" reg code off someone!
Thanks

Navigator is a wonderful (if slightly flawed) Windows-desktop look-a-like, which I use all the time.
I am sad to hear that the developers are no more, although development has stopped quite some time ago.
If only I could disable the "auto Update" feature which causes Navigator to frequently freeze for long periods. As it is, even on a 7book it can be frustratingly slow.

I have never experienced it freezing and I have never found it particularly slow in relation to other applications.
Is your adverse experience only with a Series 7 or with a 5/5mx too?

Only with a Series7 & 7book using a 1Gb Microdrive.
If the memory usage (C drive) changes (either due to it or another program), it spends 3-4 seconds showing the flashing "Updating..." info box - during which time it is frozen.
I presume it is just the length of time that Updating takes that is the problem, which may somehow be related to it being installed on my 1Gb Microdrive. I'll try moving it to the C drive now that I have tons of memory.
