I have recently bought (on eBay) a Cyclone Disk drive for the Psion 3a (see http://www.bioeddie.co.uk/models/psion-series-3a.htm at the bottom of the page) The drive seems to work but there was no driver (to install on the Psion 3a) and software (file manager) included. Because this is a “non Psion Product” the drive is not readable until the driver is installed. Has anyone used this floppy drive and have still the driver / software? It would be a great help if you would mail it to me or take contact (iliesse@hotmail.com)

Thanks in advance

When you plug in the Cyclone drive, you should see Cyclone[C] displayed under the RunIMG icon. (Install RunIMG with Psion-J if it isn't displayed in the System screen).

Running this Cyclone.img file will install the drive and let you access it as drive "C".

Note: After running Cyclone.img to install the floppy drive, this option will disappear from under the RunIMG icon so that you cannot uninstall it. Before running it, therefore, you should copy the Cyclone.img file to another drive - A, M or B

Because the SSD in my 3c was originally in my 3a, I actually still have the Cyclone.img file, so let me know if you need a copy.

P.S. Just found a floppy with the File Manager on which I can let you have :)
