60 quid is a rip-off price to get an Mbook personality changed for a pucca Netbook personality module. Although I suspect that David Lowe is NOT able to re-flash the Mbook modules - otherwise he'd probably be offering to perform this service for slightly less;-)

Both personality modules are IDENTICAL, apart from the boot loader ROM's flash image. So you're paying 60 quid just to effectively get your boot loader image changed.

I believe that it should be possible to write a straightforward programme to re-flash the boot loader ROM on the Mbook personalilty module. Indeed I suspect that this programme might already exist in the public domain - all we might need is the Netbook's boot loader ROM image in a file ??
