i330 Sync drivers and/or original software CD

I received the wrong CD with my i330, and the place I bought it from can't find the correct CD -- and Samsung won't sell it or offer it for download -- go figure. Does anyone know of a third party source and/or any other way to get the software? I used to have a Handspring Visor Prism -- would that Hotsync/Pocketmirror setup work if I just had the driver for the cradle? Argh! Me and my silly ebay habit :)

An update for my little rant... I called Sprint Tech Support -- no possibility of help there. Then I called Samsung, and their legal department is "having issues" with distribution -- they can't, under any circumstances, give out the CD or even just the drivers for the cradle. Granted, I didn't push beyond the limits of decency, but they seem like a dead end. They actually agreed that buying a new phone sounded like the only solution.

So, in the end, for a last resort, I went to a retailer, who should probably remain nameless, and someone there was kind enough to pull a CD out of a "pre-owned" i330. So, my problem is fixed -- no thanks to Samsung and Sprint, who could/should have helped me somehow, like gee, maybe just to have drivers on one or both of their web sites.

On the positive side, I am really happy with the i330, and look forward to exploring the possibilities. I'd be happy to help anyone along the way...

any chance you could email me a copy of those drivers? I am on the road and bought the sprint pcs sync cable for the i330. When I installed it it ruined my cradle drivers and didn't work to boot. so now i can't seek and can't find the drivers anywhere.

If you could send me the files I would most appreciate it.

I also don't have any of the Samsung I330 drivers and did not get the installation CD. Can anyone send me the drivers? Or copy the CD, I'd be glad to pay for shipping/handling.

Samsung has listed them on the web. The usb drivers are on the web and they suggest you go to palm for the desktop. Hope this helps.

Not being familiar with Palm, what software should I download in order to be able to hotsync my Samsung I330 cradle? I thought the Samsung ran with the OS 3.5 version of software, which I could not find on the Palm website.

Maybe I'm confused, but am I looking for some type of Hotsync software instead of an OS for Palm?

The i330 is 3.5 but you also need the palm desktop for syncing. The desktop is verion 4.1 and is available here http://www.palm.com/software/desktop/ Pull down the usb drivers from samsung and then load the desktop. There is a trick to setting the correct serial port for connecting to the cradle. If you need help with setting this up you may want to call Sprint's customer NO-service. Then sync away.
