Matt Whelan 03-25-2003, 06:24 PM I've yet to use it:confused: and I can't think of a darn thing I could use it for...Thanks. daverules 03-26-2003, 09:16 AM you can balance your check book with it. That's what I use it for. Nearside 03-26-2003, 03:00 PM I use it to monitor my blood sugar levels. Now I just have to figure out how to make a graph out of the dumb way I laid the sheet out... It's good for yer finances, but Pocket Money is better. You can use it for almost anything that requires a clear layout or some math work. Use it to make tables for something tabley you're doing. Or something. Phunkjunky 03-26-2003, 08:17 PM The best thing about Excel are the use of funnctions... if you know how to use these right, they can make your life a whole lot easier... I made a spreadsheet for mileage on my car, which i update whenever i fill my tank. I put in my odometer, gallons i put in, and price i paid, and it spits back Miles Per Gallon, and price per gallon... simple, easy... i think it's cool... if anyone wants a copy of it, look me up as Phunkjunk on AIM... later kb244 03-27-2003, 11:16 PM We use excel at envynews.com all the time to make our charts. for example, this page I did on soft-moding the Radeon9500 , http://www.envynews.com/gibs.php?ID=398&page=3 those charts were all done with excel.
