You need either a BlurTooth enabled PC or an adapter to upgrade your PC. THe USB Bluetooth adapters seem to typically sell in the $60 to $100 range.

I sync my TT (incuding AvantGo) via Bluetooth every day and it's great! I use a D-Link DBT-120 Bluetooth Dongle that I bought on-line for $37. ... FYI, I found out recently that it's a Class 2 device meaning it has a range of 30 feet. A Class 1 Bluetooth device will give you a range of 300 feet.

Just to add to what Old Blue said- A class 1 bluetooth product would give you a 300 feet range but I understand that that wouldn't make a difference with the TT only with another class one product. The built in bluetooth on the TT is class 2 so you could only sync for 30feet anyway....

Is it faster than syncyng via USB?

My personal experience has been that syncing with BlueTooth is "about" as fast as as with the USB cradle. "About"meaning that if there is a noticeable difference, it is that Bluetooth syncing may at times be just a "smidgen" slower than USB. FYI, I have not synced using my cradle since mid-January.

i noticed a major difference between BT and USB/cradle when syncing large video files. i use BT for syncing like 90% of the time...i use my usb cable when i move videos or mp3s.

For videos and MP3s, I use a card reader. It beats any syncing speed.

Don't wait for Christmas! It's 9 months away and the technology will all have changed by then. :D ... You can get a Combo CF/SD/MM USB card reader for less than $14 US. Here's a link:

I bought a 6-in1 USB 2.0 card reader for $19.99 in January. It's been great for moving and transferring files on my SD cards.

Don't you have some on-line shopping comparison web sites with which you can search for best prices in your respective locations and countries? Here in the U.S. I use pricegrabber.com, CNet Shopper, MySimon.com, and several other such sites. You should be able to get a card reader for a good price regardless of your location... (... or am I being naive?)

to my knowledge, no price-comparison website over here. as a general rule, buying tech stuff is cheaper over there in the US than over here. i think US and canada is pretty much the same...i bought my digital camera over there in toronto during boxing sale :D

nightwing,

Can you get your cousin to purchase for you here in the States and have him mail the item to you? ... I'm amazed that electronics and accessories are so much higher where you are.
