I have a Colubris 1050 wireless access point. Neat unit which runs a VPN on the wireless for security. I can get my e740 to associate with the AP and can run a VPN connection, it authenticates me and then disconnects me.
Does anyone know the specs. for the VPN client in the e740? Is it PPTP with CHAP/PAP/MS-CHAP etc.?
I can turn IPSEC on the Colubris also, is there an IPSEC client that anyone knows of?
By the way, I was in town last week meeting someone in an office block. I scanned, and associated with an AP in a nearby office. I was also in an ISP's boardroom for a meeting, scanned, associated and read my email while I was waiting. That's why I want the VPN client working!!
