I have purchased a 64mb SD Card for my m515. I was able to move files onto it using sync wizard but cannot run the application off the card. The program starts then says that the files are not installed.

I move everything back to main memory and the program runs fine. I was able to in the past run this software off my springboard module without incident (leaving the PRC file in the memory and the PDB files on the module)

What do you think? Do I need like a file mover program so that the card "knows" where to look for the file?

THANKS!

Many applications seem to need to be run first in RAM before they are transfered to the card. McFile is an excellent app for working with your files, Filez and myWorkBench.
I use MegaLauncher to run apps from the card and to organize my application. PiDirect is another app that loads applications to the card then lists them in the basic Palm Application Screen (Home) from which they can be launched with a tap of their icon.
Consider downloading Demos of these launchers and file manager. All can be found at PalmGear.com or Handango.com.

PS The process on the Palm is not precisley the same as it was for you on the Visor.

The program you are using may also not support VFS. In this case, use PiDirect II or MSMount(the latter is free). This will enable the program to find the files that it needs on the card.

Be sure to but the new PiDirect II. The new version has a number of important updates.
