M500 Hard Resets

I am having problems with my M500 randomly going through a hard reset.

Has anyone had similar experiences?

I sent an e-mail to Palm support. Do they provide decent support or will this be an uphill battle?

The support at Palm varies with the tech and the problem, it is better than SONY's.

Did you add any new software just prior to this problem starting?

It can be software conflicts. The next time it does a hard reset do not hotsync your apps back on. Try using it in that state to see if it starts doing the same thing again. If it does then it is most probably hardware related. If it works fine I suggest you go into your Palm/sync ID/Backup folder and rename the BackUp folder. Then when you sync you will not load any of the apps only the information from your desktop. Then go back into the renamed backup folder and start adding back your important apps one at a time. After each hotsync adding on apps wait and see if the Palm remains stable. When it starts crashing again you have found the culprit.
