Activesync the ipaq to the desktop, open file explorer on the desktop, copy and paste the files to Mobile Device-My Pocket PC-My Documents

The PDF file is already in the MyDocuments folder of my Axim. When I open the MS Reader there is nothing in the Library. Although, I can open it from Acrobat eBook Reader on my PC. Does it have to be a specific format other than PDF for the PPC?

MS Reader does NOT open pdf files, it only reads MS e book format(.lit), you need Adobe Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC to read pdf files;

I'm having the same problem. I'm a newbie, but I've been able to download a few games and themes that work just fine. I've downloaded two ebooks, one is a .hsb and one is a .prc file. I've got them in the My Documents folder on the PDA but I can't read them with MS Reader and when I try to open them I get the error: "There is no application associated with .... Run the application first, then open this file from within the application."

Do I need to download other reader programs????

(Remember I'm a newbie so you might need to s-p-e-a-k s-l-o-w-l-y !!)

Thanks,
Shell

The Microsoft Reader will only open files with the ".lit" extension. You'll need different software for the different formats.

I'm not sure about .hsb format, but for .prc format you can download and install µBook reader from the site below and open the .prc books with it;
