Transferring Psion 3a files to a PC

I,ve lost my 3a. Can anyone (living in London) help by transferring files from a ram backup disc I have to a PC? I run windows 98SE.

Sorry to hear about the lost 3a - this is not good :( I hope that someone in your area will be able to volunteer assistance.

Failing that, you could try contacting POS in Streatham:

They should certainly be able to rescue your data for you.

Just don't wait too long if your data is held on a RAM SSD rather than Flash SSD as there is a limit to the time the battery will retain the SSD's data while out of the machine. If it would be quicker for you, stick it in the post and I will transfer the data for you with my 3c. Send me a "private message" if that option is of interest to you.

I received the floppy today. I guess I was very lucky that the info. was still on the disk. I certainly will not be leaving the disk out for so long again.

I am thankful my problem was resolved so quickly.
