1) Has HP resolved the problem with dust getting under the screen?
2) Does HP, or anyone else, sell the screen protectors similiar to the ones they sold for the 530/540 models?
Thanks

I had a lot of trouble with the dust under my screen as well. I got a number of different stories from HP. What I can gather is that it was a problem with the first bunch of units that were built (starting in late 2001). It was supposedly fixed in units built around the end of Feb. 2002. If you look at your serial number, it will tell you when your unit was built. For example, SG203xxxx.
SG is for Singapore where the Factory is located
2 is for 2002
03 is for the third week of the year.
By this theory you're looking for units that are SG 208 or higher and they are supposed to be dust free.
As for my problem, I sent mine back five times and Still have an SG 203 which of course has dust under the screen. I got so tired of dealing with the jokers at HP that I've learned to put up with it.
Regarding your other question, I've never run across screen protectors specifically desing for the 560 series.
Hope this is some help to you and Good Luck!

the question of dust under the cover doesn't appear to be just a matter of manufacture date. Mine is a 2001 model and has no problems with dust.
As far as the screen protectors are concerned - no there aren't any which are of any good. I spoke to an HP colloeague at the CEBIT this year and he confirmed that the screens of the 565 and 568 series do not require protectors as opposed to the 548 which I used for a while and which definitely needed the protectors.
I must admit my 2001 568 is doing pretty well in this respect.
By the way, the people at HP aren't that bad. I complained to them bitterly when I heard that the jornada series is to stopped to the advantage of the Ipaq.
They apologized nicely and then sent me freebies worth over $100!!! So its worth complaining sometimes!
