e310 frontlight unpredictable

I find the frontlight unpredictable on my 310 regardless of what I set it for. Does anybody else experiene this?

Yes, you are not alone with the funky frontlight. As a new and proud owner of the e310, I've found that sometimes it chooses to go on one level of backlighting, even though I'm sure it was set differently. I've found that I can "stabilize" the screen by holding down the power switch until the light comes on and stays on...

One thing: The power button is dual function. When the frontlight turns off - supposedly according to your settings - you can re-activate it by holding down the power button. This is an intentional function of that button.

That being said, I still find the settings themselves to be flakey, but perhaps it is just me that is flakey, being 30-something and losing my mind :-)
