It seems my computer is no longer recognizing my iPAQ when I plug it into the cradle. It was working fine yesterday and now today, nothing. It doesn't know what in the world is plugged into that USB port, ActiveSync says that my iPAQ is now connected but will not let me browse my iPAQs files or backup any of the files. It won't even give me the option of telling it to back up the files.

I've tried to reinstall over it, I tried uninstall reinstall. And when I did that it didn't even ask if I wanted to set up a partnership. The thing is, it still recognizes when the iPAQ is connected, but it won't do anything beyond that.

I've tried everything I know how to, any advice would be gratefully accepted.

You probably tried this already, but I have to ask, did you try taking the ipaq off the cradle, reboot your desktop, soft reset the ipaq and try sync it again?

Beware you may run into this problem many times in the future and just soft resetting the iPAQ will fix you right up.
