help please

my clie has frozen. i hotsynched with my pc and then the battery went. now the screen has frozen and nothing happens. i am quite worried as i have only had it for 1 hour. please help.

Do a "Hard Reset" once your new machine is fully charged. Sounds like you may have not charged it fully before it's first usage. To do a "Hard Reset": while holding the power button down, push the reset button on the back of the unit (using a paper clip or the reset pin on the stylus), keep the power button depressed for 10+ seconds. When you release the power button a screen will appear telling you to push the up button to complete the "Hard Reset".

Once you have completed the hard reset, make sure you plug
your Clie in for at least 8 hours. 10 hours will be better before
using your Clie for the first time.

If you still expereince problems, do a hard reset again before
syncing to your PC.
