CF Disk

Hi

I have a compact flash disk in my Series 5 which has become corrupt.

Consequently the machine either freezes or doesn't recognise the disk as being present when it is inserted.

This means I can't format the disk in order to try and 'repair' it for re-use.

Can anyone suggest a way of formatting/repairing the disk so that I can re-use it?

You may have to format it with a PC using either a CF/PCMCIA adaptor in a laptop or USB CF reader in a desktop PC. The other option which has been known to work is using a digital camera that uses CF.
