what is the average battery life on an ipaq?

im thinking about getting a 3950 - but I cant find out how long the battery would last...

im not going to be doing anything fancy - just reading books and typing essays with the backlight probably turned off...

how much REAL usage do people get out of their ipaq's?

Well... its not long enough,
No matter what you think you will be using your backlight, I use it on the first step which provides me with enough juice for the day. But, really, I can get through a day... 10 hours of school... on my 3835, backlight about as low as you can get it, but I also listen to mp3s, surf the internet, and watch dvds... so, if all your going to do is simple word processing, then I think that you could probably at least get out about 8 hours of life, more then enough really, and if your worried, just pick up a 10 $$ portable charger off e-bay and keep it in your pag of something.
