Psion S5 and Nokia 6510

I know there has been other threads about this, but I have read them all and tried everything. I have even tried the nokia guide for connecting the 6510 to the Psion 5! I have the latest psion updates and message suite, and have tried to use 2 different ISPs. (Btinternet and Breathe), The psion connects to the 6510 and dials the number. There is then 3 beeps after each other X3, and the 6510 hangs up! I have also tried the default Nokia settings ! I am sure I am using the correct phone numbers etc. Is there something I have to set up in the 6510 before I use it for the internet?

Err, just a quick thought - you have had your phone data-enabled by your service provider?

I'm with 02, I diddnt think you would have to get it enabled! Thanks, I'll call them and ask.

I didn't word that very well - it's not actually the phone, it's your account with O2 which requires "enabling". Once that's done, it should work no matter which phone you have.

Thanks, I called 02 and they said, that my phone wasent enabled, but that they would do it within 24h, so hopefully that will solve the problem. Many thanks, your da best ;)

Are you dialling the correct number? In particular, if you are using 'smart' dialling the leading zero in the area code must be omitted as in:

+44 845 1234567

otherwise it will try to dial 00845 which is probably unobtainable.
