Ipaq turns itself on and kills battery

HI - someone please let me know if this has happened to you -my ipaq (3850) turns itself on quite regularily and doesn't turn itself off at all until the battery dies. I have the preferences set to turn itself off after 3 minutes if on battery power, this seems not to work.

The priamary problem, obviously, is that it turns itself one when it should not.

Help pllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssss seee!

As you can see, you are not the only one with this problem. All i can recommend for now is take a look at AutoPowerOFF, it may prevent battery run down
