I deleted my Shell (C inside the square) which is necessary to run my music synthesizer program, and the strumming program. Does anyone have any idea where I can find the original Shell to put back on the EM-500? I visited pdamusician.com and downloaded their synthesizer setup progams (synthesizer plus pocketpc something). If the shell is on the Orb site I have no idea where, can you get it here on PDAStreet.com?

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. But if you lost something that was installed on your EM500 that was in ROM, the easiest thing to do would be to just do a hard reset on the pda. I think the EM500 is reset is accomplished by holding down the power button and pushing the reset pin on the back side while the button is held depressed, and then releasing it.
Be sure to synch and backup your current configuration first if there is something on there that is critical you need to keep.

Richie Rich, Thank you for your response. The EM-500 probably does need a reset, and I've ordered an extra MMC card to do that. There was a square logo with a "C" in it on the file explorer and when you click on it you get basically a blank explorer/browser which says "shell". Anyway, that isn't there now so the program won't run.
I downloaded the files I thought I needed from pdamusician.com, esp. one called C runtime. But to get the "pc shell" think I have to download something else from Orbworks.
